If so, our company is looking for you. As a professional and motivated apprentice you will learn the skills of an appliance service technician. After successfully completing our training program, you will be assigned a vehicle to run calls solo beginning a strong career as an appliance technician. Extended, industry specific technical training is provided to qualified individuals. The area covered is Monroe and surrounding counties.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience working on major appliances or related schooling (HVAC) is a plus but not necessary.
EPA certification a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Clean driving record and a valid New York driver's license (company vehicle provided)
Formal Appliance Service Training is a plus
Must be willing to submit to a formal background check to include drug test, DMV, and Criminal Background check
Duties and Responsibilities:
Paying close attention to customer service, the In Home Service Professional will learn to evaluate, troubleshoot, repair and test all types and brands of appliances including washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, stoves/ovens and dishwashers.

Compensation: $41,600.00 - $62,400.00 per year
As an appliance repair technician, you’ll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you’ll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.
You’ll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you’ll have to deal with people, too.
Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
