S&S Appliance Parts and Service needs service technicians for Alabama, NW Florida, Mississippi Gulf Coast, and West Georgia. We are the factory certified service provider for Whirlpool and exclusively work on Whirlpool, Maytag, Kitchen Aid, Jenn-Air and Amana products. Products repaired include Washers & Dryers, Gas/Electric Stoves, Microwave Ovens, Dishwashers, Refrigerators/Freezers, and other home appliances.
- Provide timely and quality repairs for customers while maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency to meet customer time commitments.
- Meet key performance metrics and/or productivity goals as defined by the business.
- Provide repair cost estimates, and recommend whether appliance repair or replacement is a better choice.
- Continuously look for methods to improve business performance and enhance the customer experience.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Ability and desire to take ownership of a customer’s dilemma and work with them to a successful resolution.
- 2 years of appliance repair experience preferred.

This is a remote position.
Compensation: $39,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
As an appliance repair technician, you’ll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you’ll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.
You’ll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you’ll have to deal with people, too.
Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
