Appliance Installer and Delivery Driver

Full Time • Dallas
We are a 65-year old family-owned appliance repair company seeking a motivated individual excellent in customer service, able to lift in excess of 50 lbs, possess a clean driving record and looking for a fun working environment with possible career advancement into appliance repair.

You will represent our company in a professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction and support our broader team of ~40 individuals.

This role does NOT require a CDL or commercial truck license.

Success in this role can lead to internal growth within the company, including training as an luxury appliance technician, work in parts department or customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction with homeowners, home personnel, business owners and other customers 
  • Deliver a variety of appliances (e.g., icemaker, oven, etc) to different addresses 
  • Follow routes and time schedules
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
  • Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
  • Collect payments
  • Inform customers about new products and services
  • Complete logs and reports
  • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Skills

  • Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver, preferably with appliances
  • Valid professional driver’s license
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Good driving record with no traffic violations
Compensation: $17.50 - $23.00 per hour
