We will train you in product knowledge on GE, Frigidaire, Electrolux and Speed Queen appliances so that you can become one of the leading experts in West Texas on appliance features to better serve our clients.
As an appliance sales associate, you will provide product knowledge and make sales of appliances at our retail location. Your responsibilities will include actively seeking out customers, assessing their needs and offering assistance, pitching a product, and completing sales orders. Your duties also have you setting up floor models, working towards sales quotas, explaining extended warranties, and processing finance applications. An appliance sales associate also helps with merchandising and making sure the sales floor is clean and ready for customers at all times.
Other duties include:
- Support colleagues and contribute to a positive and team focused environment
- Assist with merchandising and in store set up, which includes but is not limited to moving, building, cleaning, and maintaining the showroom.
- Deliver superior customer service at all times
- Maintain awareness of current advertised merchandise, promotions, and rebates
- Collaborate with external and internal partners to identify and resolve customer issues
- Develop and maintain sales materials and product knowledge across a wide range of brands
- Establish and maintain current customer and potential customer relationships
- Deliver on key metrics and sales goals at set by the company monthly
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all credit policies, procedures, and government regulations
- Ability to maximize each sales opportunity by offering all applicable services, products, and attachments during all customer interactions
- Perform all job functions with a high degree of integrity and honesty
- Comply with reasonable requests from management to perform other duties and responsibilities not listed above
As an appliance repair technician, you’ll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you’ll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.
You’ll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you’ll have to deal with people, too.
Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
