- Accurately diagnose and repair residential appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, microwaves, and ovens)
- Provide cost estimates for repairs and collect payment and/or payment for work performed.
- Ensure the efficient use and maintenance of company materials, equipment, and vehicle.
- Valid Driver's License
- At least 18 years of age
- Can speak, read, and write clearly in the English language

- 1 year of experience in related in a related industry: Electrician, HVAC, Auto mechanics, Plumbing
- Ability to read wiring diagrams/schematics
- Strong customer service skills
- Comfortable working with water, gas, and electrical connections.
- Strong mechanical ability (using tools, and disassembling equipment)
- Can proficiently use a voltmeter.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing related equipment.
- Strong understanding of basic electrical principals
- Can navigate tablet/smart phone-based to a high standard.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
As an appliance repair technician, you’ll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you’ll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.
You’ll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you’ll have to deal with people, too.
Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
