At Big Lake Appliance Service, we know your name, your goals, and we’re committed to your success. Our focus is on creating a supportive, family-first environment where you’re more than just an employee—you’re a valued part of our team’s growth.

About Us:
Big Lake Appliance Service is a locally-owned, award-winning appliance repair company known for quality, integrity, and professionalism. We were named the Most Professional Service Company of 2025 by the United Appliance Servicers Association, after finishing as runner-up in 2024.

We are an authorized servicer for high-end brands such as Sub-Zero, Bosch, Viking, and many others. We pride ourselves on delivering top-notch service, and with less than 10% of our work being warranty-related, our technicians enjoy a high volume of customer-paid jobs, rewarding both your skills and efforts.

Position Summary:
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Lead Appliance Repair Technician to join our growing team. If you're skilled—especially in sealed system repairs—and ready for a leadership role with a company that values you, this could be the perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair a variety of residential appliances, with a focus on premium brands.

  • Perform sealed system repairs, including compressors, evaporators, and refrigerant work.

  • Lead and mentor other technicians, ensuring quality and adherence to company standards.

  • Provide professional, friendly customer service.

  • Keep accurate records of service work and follow all safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of appliance repair experience, with a focus on sealed systems.

  • EPA certification required.

  • Experience with high-end appliance brands is a plus.

  • Strong communication and diagnostic skills.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly base pay + commission.

  • Experienced techs typically earn $75,000–$100,000 annually.

  • Company-provided vehicle, tools, and uniform.

  • Technicians start and end most days from home.

  • Healthcare reimbursement.

  • Fully funded Health Savings Account (HSA).

  • Retirement plan with company matching.

  • Relocation assistance available for the ideal candidate.

  • No restrictive job contracts or non-competes.
We believe in trust and transparency, not fine print.

  • Supportive, family-oriented culture with room for career growth.

  • Less than 10% of work is warranty-related, meaning more customer-paid jobs, more earning potential, and more job satisfaction.

Flexible work from home options available.

Compensation: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
