Position: Appliance Cleaning Specialist
Job Description: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Appliance Cleaning Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for taking used appliances and meticulously cleaning them to ensure they are in a presentable and sellable condition. Your work will directly impact the customer experience and the overall quality of our showroom offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize used appliances using various methods and cleaning agents.
- Ensure all appliances meet our high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Report any issues or necessary repairs to the refurbishment team.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving appliances.
- Experience with cleaning or maintenance is a plus, but not required.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.

Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

The company stayed small, but demand pushed for growth and since 2000 it has been on a constant rise, employing now over 40 employees. Since the beginning, Reliable Appliance has kept a strong goal to provide the highest level of service, the largest selection of products, and the most competitive prices. Reliable Appliance is a value driven business that believes in strong relationships, taking care of the customer, superior service, eco-friendly, and lasting trust. In 2019, Michael sold the company to his son Logan Rounds, Kyle Mirka, Darin Williams, and Kenny Petersen.
Since 1995, Reliable Appliance has grown to more than 40 employees, and has a store in Anchorage and Wasilla. It has evolved into the largest appliance recycle location in Alaska.
