Job Overview:
As a Delivery Driver/Installer, you'll be the face of our company, delivering and installing merchandise directly to our valued customers. You'll be responsible for not only logistics but also customer service, ensuring each delivery leaves a lasting positive impression. Your role will combine professional driving with hands-on installation of large appliances, all while maintaining a courteous and ethical demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver & Install: Safely deliver ,and potentially install, merchandise to customers' home or business with utmost care and consideration, ensuring all products are hooked up according to installation instructions. 
  • Follow the delivery schedule:  It is your responsibility to get the delivery to the customer on time and in good condition.
  • Customer Service: Provide superior customer service by maintaining professional communication and a positive attitude with customers and team members.
  • Think ahead: Be prepared to do your job well. Think of ways to improve your efficiency and share these ideas with others. 
  • Safety & Compliance: Operate delivery vehicles safely and courteously, follow all traffic laws, and adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
  • Product Handling: Load and secure merchandise to prevent damage during transport and delivery.
  • Warehouse Assistance: Support warehouse operations by preparing and distributing merchandise, as well as maintaining cleanliness and order.
  • Problem Reporting: Immediately report any damaged or missing merchandise, customer complaints, traffic citations, accidents or injuries to your supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Commercial Driver’s License: Must hold a valid CDL with a good standing record.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry items up to 75 pounds without restriction.
  • Certification: Lift gate certification may be required.
  • Background Check: Must pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal/theft background check.
Additional Responsibilities:

  • Attend training meetings as required to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
  • Wear company uniforms or adhere to the company dress code, maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
  • Properly dispose of packing materials, debris, and appliances as directed.
