K&A Appliance has a great reputation in the community for service, products, customer experience & work environment. Having been experiencing rapid growth K&A Appliance has openings for full-time Delivery/Installation personnel to work out of their Greenfield facility.

Job Summary:

  • Deliver and install appliances in customers’ homes, including –
  • Refrigerators (some w/water lines) & Chest Freezers
  • Gas & Electric - Ranges, Ovens, Stove-tops & In-Wall Ovens
  • Over the Range Microwaves
  • Dishwashers
  • Laundry - Washers & Dryers (Gas & Electric)
  • Deliveries involve the use of a Shoulder Dolly Lifting System by 2 employees
  • Disconnect & move/remove old appliances
  • Communicate with customers regarding arrival times
  • On occasion, bill customers for parts/labor and receive payments
  • Maintain on-truck stock of parts used in on-site installations
  • Typically work 40 to 50 hours a week
  • Between the hours of 7am & 5:30pm Monday through Friday
  • Warehouse work Saturdays 9am – 4pm, once a month
  • When not delivering warehouse work is expected
  • Work with warehouse team to load/unload trailer loads of appliances using hand trucks
  • Other warehouse work may also be assigned
  • Closed Sundays & major holidays
  • Weekly payroll, direct deposited

Job Requirements:

  • Experience delivering & installing general household appliances, or a history of work as an electrician or plumber.
  • Must have a clean and valid PA driver's license
  • NO CDL required but should have at least one year of experience operating a straight and/or cube truck (Delivery Truck)
  • Be able to safely lift, move, and carry large appliances up/down stairs of customers’ homes, with a co-worker
  • To lift up to 50 lbs on their own, lift more weight with assistance
  • Proficient in connecting water and gas lines and checking for leaks
  • Provide excellent service and customer care during the delivery and installation of appliances in customers' home
  • Must have mechanical skills and willingness to learn new things
  • Legibly complete all necessary paperwork'
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Compensation: $720.00 - $1,155.00 per week
