We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team at K & A Appliance. As the Appliance Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the service operations of our appliance store. You will coordinate a small team of dedicated professionals, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service for their household appliances.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate the daily operations of the service department including service technicians.
· Monitor and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient and timely service processes.
· Develop and implement strategies to optimize service efficiency, ensuring timely completion of tasks and daily operations.
· Assist with other departments, mostly Delivery & Customer Check-out.
· Document & track current inventory of parts in order to determine what is already in stock, maintain certain levels of product & order parts needed to accomplish service repairs.
· Order & track parts needed for the Service Department
· File warranty claims with manufacturers
· Bill & collect payments from customers for non-warranty service work & parts.
Requirements:
· High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
· Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the appliance or retail industry
· Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
· Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and team members.
· Proficiency in using computer systems and software relevant to service and delivery operations.
