Job Overview:
As an Appliance Technician Trainee, you’ll participate in our comprehensive 8-12 week in-house training program designed to prepare you for a career as a certified Appliance Repair Technician. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians to develop the skills necessary to repair and service major household appliances directly in customers' homes.

Responsibilities:
- Learn to diagnose and repair a variety of home appliances, including refrigerators, ovens, washers, dryers, and more.
- Shadow experienced technicians to gain knowledge and hands-on experience in appliance repair.
- Develop troubleshooting skills for identifying mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in appliances.
- Interact professionally with customers, maintaining a high level of service and communication.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while on job sites and in customers’ homes.

Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

In 2019, Michael sold the company to his son Logan Rounds, Kyle Mirka, Darin Williams, and Kenny Petersen.
Since 1995, Reliable Appliance has grown to more than 40 employees, and has a store in Anchorage and Wasilla. It has evolved into the largest appliance recycle location in Alaska.
