We, a renowned family owned company, certified and authorized to work on high end luxury appliances,  are hiring a skilled Appliance Repair Technician for our team to assist clients with appliance repair and maintenance needs. As an Appliance Repair Technician, you will respond to clients’ calls and identify and fix problems on the site. Additionally, you will perform maintenance procedures, remove and replace damaged or defective appliance parts, and ensure appliances work properly after the repair.

Your primary goal as an Appliance Repair Technician is to ensure appliances are repaired and installed properly and safely and that clients are satisfied with the results. You should advise clients on the correct use and maintenance of appliances as well. In conclusion, the candidate that would fit into our team best should have great communication, customer service, problem-solving, technical, and dexterity skills

 
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in the customer's home
  • Provide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed
  • Ensure the efficient use of materials and keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced
  • Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required
  • Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions
 
Job Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Previous working experience as an Appliance Repair Technician prefered
  • Strong knowledge of repair techniques and installations
  • In-depth knowledge of different home appliances and their components
  • Excellent communication and customer service
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean record
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology
  • The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance 
  • Flexible and variable hours (no weekends)
 
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Compensation: $500.00 per year
