Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct appliance parts.
- Provide exceptional bilingual customer service in both English and Spanish.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels.
- Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends.
- Collaborate with the repair team to ensure timely parts availability.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Promote special offers and upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Fluent in both English and Spanish, with excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience in retail or sales, preferably in the appliance industry.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Basic knowledge of appliance parts and repair processes is a plus.
- Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.

Compensation: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
As an appliance repair technician, you’ll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you’ll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.
You’ll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you’ll have to deal with people, too.
Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
