Action Appliance is expanding our Rhode Island service team and is looking for an experienced appliance repair technician who is ready to join a stable, growing company with strong support, steady call volume, and a professional team environment.
We are seeking a technician with proven appliance repair experience who can confidently diagnose and repair major household appliances while delivering a high-quality customer experience.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair major household appliances
- Provide customers with clear explanations and professional recommendations
- Complete accurate estimates, invoices, and job notes
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, parts, and management
- Represent Action Appliance with honesty, accountability, and respect
Qualifications
- Prior appliance repair experience required
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Experience with refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges, ovens, and related appliances
- EPA certification preferred, especially for sealed system or refrigeration work
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently in customers’ homes
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
As an appliance repair technician, you’ll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you’ll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.
You’ll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you’ll have to deal with people, too.
Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
