About the Role:
Hess Furniture Company, Inc. is looking for a hardworking and dependable Delivery Driver & Warehouse Associate to join our team in Mt Pleasant, TX! This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in getting beautiful furniture into the hands of our customers while keeping our warehouse running smoothly. Responsibilities:
- Safely load, transport, and deliver furniture and appliances to customer homes and businesses in a timely manner
- Professionally interact with customers during deliveries, ensuring a positive experience
- Assist with furniture assembly and placement at delivery locations as needed
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming inventory in the warehouse
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Inspect furniture for damage before and after transport and report any issues
- Assist with pulling, staging, and preparing orders for delivery
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (50+ lbs) regularly
- Prior delivery, warehouse, or furniture experience is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service skills and a professional, friendly demeanor
- Ability to navigate local routes efficiently

Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
As an appliance repair technician, you’ll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you’ll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.
You’ll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you’ll have to deal with people, too.
Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
